support to anyone, family member or friend, who is working
through the trauma-grief of losing a loved one to murder
or the violence of an attempted murder.

To provide regular meetings at
which contact can be established with similarly bereaved
individuals.

To provide information about the
grieving process as it pertains to victims. Victims
include those who have lost a loved one to murder &
those who have been victims of attempted murder.

To provide information about the
criminal justice system as it pertains to victims.

To educate the community regarding
the issues faced by the surviving families & friends
of murder victims & victims of attempted murder.

To provide accompaniment &
support to victims as they go through the criminal justice
system.

To assist victims in preventing
the release or parole of offenders.

To assist victims in restoring a
sense of control to their lives.

To educate professionals in the
fields of criminal justice, law enforcement, medicine,
religion, education, mental health, social work, community
services, funeral services & other areas, about the
problems faced by the survivors of murder victims &
survivors of attempted murder.

To provide victims with education,
information & a voice in the legislative process by
actively participating in the review & support of
victim's rights & public safety issues.
