• Remember my cousin in Louisiana who had been battling Leukemia? And she was doing so good? Well, I guess in the last week or so, her liver had begun to reject the new blood from the marrow transplant. And that was 2 YEARS ago!   Long story short, she died yesterday. It was really unexpected. She had done so well. My heart aches for her family. She was just 30. Her kids are all under 10.
  
   Anyway, I would appreciate the prayers. I will miss her greatly.

  .AS YOU KNOW HE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH AN NONE OPERABLE OPTIC BRAIN TUMOR TWO AND A HALF MONTHS AGO AND I ASKED FOR YOUR PRAYERS.  WELL, WITH PRAYERS, MIRACLES DO HAPPEN.  TODAY, ZACH'S FIRST MRI SINCE BEING DIAGNOSED AND 10 CHEMO TREATMENTS REFLECTED THAT THE  TUMOR HAS SHRUNK CONSIDERABLY.. THANK YOU JESUS.. WHAT A GREAT DAY..
   
  ZACH WILL NOW RECEIVE 3 SETS OF 4 CHEMO TREATMENTS WITH A 2 WEEK INTERMISSION AND THEN ANOTHER MRI.
   
  JEAN AND I HAVE BEEN SAYING HE IS OUR MIRACLE BABY AND THAT HE IS.

• Ellen was the matron-of-honor in my wedding. (30+ yrs ago)
  She was a teacher for 15 years and a Principal for 11 years.
  She retired 6 years ago to care for her Mother who has
  Alzheimers. Her Mother was physically abusive and violent
  with her, not realizing this of course, due to her condition.
  Ellen could not put her Mother in a home, however, with the
  encouragement of family and friends, Ellen finally did this
  just 2 weeks before she was found on the kitchen floor
  bleeding. Her sister from New Jersey (Ellen lives in Indiana)
  had been trying to call her and there was no answer, so she
  called a neighbor to go into the house because she felt that
  something was wrong as Ellen is a very detailed person and
  always on schedule. Ellen is 56.
  
  She suffered a brain hemorrhage and has had two brain surgeries
  and surgery for a blood clot in her leg, all in 10 days. Ellen
  was always very healthy, never even a cold of flu. Since she
  retired to care for her Mother, she had no health insurance
  because she could not afford it and was too young to collect
  social security or pension.
  
  Anyway, she has a long road ahead of her and really needs the
  prayers.  She has no feeling on her left size and they don't
  know if she ever will.  Her speech is coming back but her
  attention span is very short right now and we pray that that
  improves as time goes on. Ellen still has to undergo surgery
  for a brain aneurysm the end of June when she is stronger.

• Please pray for my friend, Gloria's mother.  She has had some health problems
  recently and is in need of your prayers.
  
  
• I have a prayer request...My mom just called and said my youngest sister, Cleone
  is in an ambulance going to La Crosse to have surgery..Mom said her kidney had
  burst...I'm wondering if it was her appendix but anyway, Mom said they checked her
  over in ER and sent her right to LaCrosse as this was poisoning her system.
   
  She had been hurting and throwing up and this morning called Mom to take her to
  ER. Mom is driving down there now so she will have a car...needless to say, I'd like
  prayers for Mom too!! I asked her, please, to drive carefully!!!..but I know how a person
  feels thinking of their daughter in an ambulance.

• Could you please remember Robert's Dad in your prayers & maybe 
  put him on your prayer page? He's in the hospital. They think 
  he has Guillen-Barre disease.  Prayers are needed please.

• My cousin is 56 and was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
  He had surgery, chemo, etc. and was just hospitalized
  again for excess fluid around the heart. Also test results
  just showed that it has spread to his liver.  Since I'm
  certified in Hospice, I know he is probably end stage at
  this point.  The family needs prayers to accept this and
  for strength to get through these trying times. I'm OK.
  He has been fighting for about a year now and there is
  physically nothing left to him.  When there is nothing
  physically left, you suffer and I hate the thoughts of it.
  Please add Charlie and his wife Marie Claire and their family
  to your prayer request list.  It would be greatly appreciated.

• I just got back from cancer clinic, and after a bunch of test have cancer of
  the face, need all the prayers from founders and members I can get, much power in prayer. But ill hang in there, I know its in gods hands, and Nicki I also know my home is not of this earth, its in heaven. Thank him for the finished work of the cross .

• My brother, Charlie, was admitted into the hospital last night because his cancer has come back with a vengeance and is in deep need of our prayers at this time. His pain is beyond our imagination and they have tried to make him as comfortable as they can with medication. I am pleading for your help in helping me pray that this will either be cured or that he will not suffer and that he has found Jesus Christ as his Savior and has proclaimed it. I know help comes when many voices are heard, and being a baby Christian am a little sketchy on how to do this. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking time to read this and to respond to this plea.

• My Uncle Ray is going in for Surgery today to remove the lumps in his lower lung, Today at 1:30 Eastern time. Please pray that he will be OK during the Surgery and that the lumps are not cancer, I will let you know what is happening as I find out. Please everybody pray for him he is a really nice guy and mom's little brother so do not want to lose him. Thanks for your time

• Another prayer chain is needed this time for my Uncle Ray he started throwing up blood and they went and did some test but can tell until Friday when the test come back please pray for him that it is not cancer. I will keep you updated as I hear anything talk to my Aunt yesterday when she called to wish my Mom a Happy Birthday said something about a test but didn't get into it much my fault I was asleep when she called Mom hasn't been letting me sleep at night so try and get some during the day when Joe is in school.  Please pray that my uncle will be OK I don't want to lose anymore family

God has delivered her in the past, from Breast and Colon Cancer. Now she has a growth on her liver and one on her Pancreas and she is having another Colon test in the morning. • I don't know if you are a prayer or not, but my man needs all the prayers he can get and so do I.  He's having major surgery 1-14-03 at 8 a.m.  He has an abdominal aortic aneurysm that is 1 1/2 cm over the limit.  It's leaking.

  Hello everyone,I'm sending this prayer request out on behalf of Elva Walker better known as Piano Lady. I called her tonight and we talked about an hour. 
  

  The doctors gave her son Gary 6 months to live. As a lot of you know he has cancer. She wanted me  to tell everyone she is going through pure torment right now. Gary is still taking Chemo treatments and he's claiming his healing.
  
  Elva had to get rid of her computer. But will get another one as soon as she can. So keep her email address she'll be back online as soon as she can. She just wants everyone to continue praying  for them. Especially for Gary's healing. We all know God can work Miracles.  I know she has a lot of good friends out there. • I just got an IM from Conblond2000. It was her mother that passed away in Spokane, Washington. The one that lost her son this year. She was pretty upset but that is too be expected. We are only given one mother.

• We got some bad news & I was wondering if you could put a prayer

  request on your prayer page for Robert's Mom. She had a mastectomy

  several years back & kept showing up clean & healthy - until now. The

  cancer is back. They are going to have to take all the chest material

  that isn't bone & then figure from there. She's really upbeat & she's a

  real fighter so I'm feeling hopeful. But some extra prayers can't ever hurt.

  We're going over to see them all today.

• Would you please put baby Luke's name in the newsletter & ask for prayers for him. He's still in the hospital, is having problems with sleep apnea & will have to be on a monitor when he does come home. The other twin, Noah, is home & doing well. They were premies & with them being twins also,  that put them at a lower birth weight. Noah weighed 5lbs.8 oz. & Luke weighed 5lbs.3oz., but they both lost down, Luke just lost down too much to come home on top of the sleep apnea.   So all prayers will be greatly appreciated.

• Don't know if I told you or not, but the leukemia is the treatable kind. My cousin is on chemo for 10 days, 24 hours a day. They said there is about a 70% cure rate. If you wouldn't mind putting her on your prayer page, I'd appreciate it.

My wife, Tammie, is 42 years old and has just been diagnosed 3 days ago with stage 4 breast cancer and her chances for survival are very slim. This is her second bout with cancer. • One of our beautiful classmates passed away. She has battled off cancer

for a few years and it finally got the best of her. I think in the past we

have asked members to pray for dear "Annie". She was a great friend of mine

and of Valerie's too. She was a Christian and had the Lord in her heart and

we can be thankful she has gone on to be with the Lord and is no longer

suffering.  She leaves behind two children, Erin, 18 and Jason 24.  Thanks

REALLY HARD. SHE BURIED HER OLDEST SON NOV. 18TH AND THE 21ST OF THIS MONTH WILL BE 2 YEARS SINCE SHE BURIED ONE OF HER DAUGHTERS. SO PLEASE SAY A PRAYER
