You were true and faithful
our companion to the end
Watching your pain and suffering
broke our hearts, we won't pretend
You lived a long and wonderful life
but the reason you left us is a sin
It was at the hands of greedy people
they were uncaring and heartless men
If we only knew it was your food
something you loved, was making you ill
We would never have faithfully fed
if we knew our Funny Face it would kill
You suffered so and it broke our hearts
to have to say our last and sad goodbye
But we know you will be waiting for us
on Rainbow Bridge there in the sky
You have earned your peace and rest
so sleep, our little Funny Faced friend
You were our faithful companion
and you loved us up till the end

Funny Face was a dear
and loving member of Joe and Jim's family for many many years.
Funny Face's life ended not due to old age, but at the hands of selfish
and cruel men, ,men who
knowingly sold the poison that was used unknowingly at first by the pet
food manufactures and then not
letting the public know in time to stop the many needless deaths that have
occurred in our loving pets. Cats and
dogs who were members of their families, families who are hurt and
mourning their untimely deaths...
